The "Kulturschmiede Gaildorf e.V." culture club has been organising Gaildorf's widely known Gaildorfer Blues Festival for the last 20 years. Every year blues musicians from all over the world perform at the festival and have turned Gaildorf into a veritable mecca of the blues.

It all started in 1979 from humble beginnings. In the meantime this bi-annual event has developed into one of the most important events of its kind internationally.
