Beyond the Kerner Tower (open every Sunday from April to October), there are beautiful footpaths in the Idyllic Road Hiking Park. There are also many other footpaths within the extensive network of trails in Gaildorf with resting places and adventure playgrounds which invite you explore the area on foot.

Cyclists can reach the former royal residence town on numerous cycle routes. The best known cycle path is along the rivers Kocher and Jagst.
